- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough e.g., Pillsbury Grands
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup milk
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon chopped green onions optional
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat, breaking it up with a spoon until fully browned and crumbled. Drain excess grease.
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Spray a 9-inch pie dish with cooking spray. Place the biscuit dough at the bottom of the dish, pressing the pieces together to form a crust.
Layer the cooked sausage over the biscuit crust. Pour the egg mixture over the sausage, ensuring it’s evenly distributed.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
Optionally, garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Serve hot and enjoy!
- For a lower-calorie version, use turkey sausage instead of regular breakfast sausage.
- You can substitute the cheddar cheese with any cheese of your choice.
